The Earth Island Institute is one of the coolest non-profit organisations in the world!

It provides individual projects with the freedom to develop new initiatives, gives them new ideas and the tools to create them with. Since their founding, in 1982 by legendary environmentalist David R. Brower, they have provided fiscal sponsorship to more than 100 projects around the globe, making our world greener and better, one project at a time.
